Cancellation and Right of Withdrawal

Who this applies to

This page explains the cancellation rules of Zector Digital Group S.L. (trading as Costa del Sol Fixers) and your statutory right of withdrawal under the Spanish Texto Refundido de la Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios (RDL 1/2007), which transposes Directive 2011/83/EU. It applies when you act as a consumer and the contract is concluded at a distance (online, by telephone, WhatsApp or email) or away from our business premises.

Your 14-day right of withdrawal

You have 14 calendar days to withdraw from a service contract without giving any reason, counted from the day the contract was concluded.

To exercise it, send us a clear statement (for example by email) of your decision to withdraw. You may use the model form below but you are not obliged to.

Services that begin during the 14-day period

If you expressly ask us to begin the service before the 14-day period ends, we will start only after you tick the explicit acknowledgement: "I expressly request that the service begins before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period". If you then withdraw, you must pay an amount proportionate to the work already carried out, calculated against the total contract price.

Where the service has been fully performed at your express request before the 14 days expire, you lose the right of withdrawal in respect of that fully performed service — but only where this has been clearly acknowledged in advance.

Urgent repairs and maintenance

For urgent repairs or maintenance specifically requested by you, the withdrawal right does not apply to the specific work strictly necessary to deal with the emergency. It continues to apply to any additional services or supplies we provide that were not strictly required to handle the emergency.

Cancellations outside the withdrawal right

Outside the statutory right of withdrawal, you may cancel a confirmed booking by giving us as much notice as possible. We may charge for work already performed, for materials specially ordered for your job and for non-recoverable third-party costs.

Refunds

Where withdrawal applies, we will reimburse you within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the same means of payment you used, unless you agree otherwise.
