Professional swimming pool cleaning

Weekly pool cleaning in Marbella
Most Marbella pools need cleaning once a week through the swimming season and every one to two weeks over winter. Heat, wind-blown dust, pine and palm debris and heavy summer bather load all push a pool out of balance faster here than in cooler climates.
A weekly slot means the same routine on the same day: skim, brush, vacuum, empty baskets, test the water and correct it before anything visible goes wrong. It is the cheapest way to keep a pool swimmable, because you are never paying to recover it.
Villa pool cleaning
Villa pools in Marbella are usually larger, often surrounded by planting and frequently fitted with salt chlorination, heating or automatic covers — so the cleaning visit has to account for the equipment as well as the water.
We handle villa pools across Marbella, Nueva Andalucía, the Golden Mile, Guadalmina, Elviria and Benahavís, including gated urbanisations where access has to be arranged with security or a keyholder.
Pool cleaning for second homes
If your property sits empty for part of the year, the pool still needs attention — water evaporates, chemistry drifts and algae takes hold quickly in warm still water. Cleaning visits continue while you are away and we report what we find.
You do not need to be in Spain. We arrange access with a keyholder, neighbour, concierge or gate code, and send photos after visits so you can see the state of the pool from wherever you are.
Holiday rental pool cleaning
Rental pools are judged by guests on the day they arrive, so cleaning is scheduled around changeovers rather than a fixed weekday where that is possible.
We work with owners and property managers on pre-arrival cleans, mid-stay visits for longer bookings, and quick turnarounds between back-to-back guests.
Green pool cleaning and algae recovery
A green pool can normally be recovered without draining it. The usual route is to correct pH, shock the water, run the filtration continuously, brush the surfaces and then vacuum out the dead algae over the following days, cleaning or backwashing the filter as it loads up.
Recovery time depends on how far the pool has gone, the filtration capacity and whether the pump and filter are working properly. Where the water is beyond treatment or the shell needs attention, we will say so rather than keep dosing chemicals into it.
Saltwater pool cleaning
Saltwater pools are cleaned the same way as chlorine pools — the difference is in the chemistry checks. Salt level, cell condition and chlorine output all matter, and a scaled cell will quietly stop sanitising the water while the pool still looks fine.
If your chlorinator is showing low output, salt-low alerts or controller errors, that is handled through our saltwater pool systems service.
